Welcome to the North Barnsley web site.

We are an innovative organisation making a substantial impact on the 
community and economic regeneration of the North Barnsley area 
through projects supported by European and Regional Development 
Grants. Our vision is to develop, through partnership and positive 
working, projects and enterprises that will have a sustained and long 
term impact in the area.

We are one of six IDP (Integrated Development Plan) organisations in 
the South Yorkshire area and the only one operating in Barnsley. We 
are an independent organisation delivering Economic Regeneration. We 
have developed a portfolio of projects that address social and economic 
developments. Our allocation of funding including management costs 
was £3.25 million, the total amount of finance attracted to portfolio 
projects is £10 million by increasing public and private finance an 
impressive amount of finance/funding brought into the North Barnsley 
Communities.
