When we established the North Barnsley Partnership our Directors set out what our aims of the organisation would be.

Generally our aim is to directly influence the regeneration of the economy in North Barnsley through our projects and:

Promote job and training opportunities within the area, and to advance education and training with the particular aim of equipping people for further education, employment and training so as to enhance their employment prospects in industry, commerce and the professions

Provide a safe and sustainable natural and built environment for residents of the area and for businesses operating in the area, with improved transport links to improve access to training, jobs and leisure time occupation

Provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation

Improve the health of the residents of the area

Promote the activities of other organisations in particular the Partnership’s membership organisations working in the area and to promote public involvement and community cohesiveness. (Click on Community Links above)
