Shafton Parish Council 

Shafton Parish Council represented the community of 
Shafton. The community lies to the North East of the 
Barnsley Borough on the busy Barnsley / Pontefract 
Road. The community has a population of 2795.
 
There are two Parish Councillors who represent the 
community they are:

Partnership boundary only 2425 of Shafton residents are 
included, some 14% of The North Barnsley Partnerships 
total population.
